Field Trip

Join us for an exciting field trip to Twin Creeks, part of Nevada Gold Mines complex with three of the world’s top 10 Tier One gold assets. Nevada Gold Mines is operated by Barrick Gold Corporation (NYSE:GOLD)(TSX:ABX) and is a joint venture between Barrick (61.5%) and Newmont (38.5%) that combined their significant assets across Nevada in 2019 to create the single largest gold-producing complex in the world.

Under the joint venture, Barrick’s Turquoise Ridge Mine and Newmont’s Twin Creeks Complex were combined as a single operation, now known as Turquoise Ridge. The combined mining operation is comprised of the Turquoise Ridge Underground, Vista Underground, and Turquoise Ridge Surface (the Mega and Vista open pits).

Participants will travel from Sparks to the Twin Creeks Mine, Golconda, NV 89414, United States. Approximately 205 miles North of Sparks, Nevada.

• Travel by charter bus from Nevada Gold Mines to Sparks/Reno Nevada

Field Trip Itinerary: 
7:30 am     Travel to Twin Creeks from Sparks, by charter bus
10:30 am   Arrival at mine site
11:00 am   Mine tour begins
12:30 pm   Lunch (provided as part of registration)
1:00 pm     Mine tour continues
2:30 pm     Travel back to Sparks, Nevada by charter bus
5:30 pm     Arrival at Sparks, Nevada
